Student Session (20 minutes)

For students with prior learning experience:

1. Perform 2 prepared pieces

2. Bring their most recent lesson books

3. Aural / listening test

For students with no prior experience:

1. Explore the piano through music games and interactive activities

2. Introduction to basic music theory to help them understand the learning pattern and concepts for future lessons

3. Aural / listening test

Purpose of the Student Session:

• Assess the student’s current music foundation and learning progress

• Evaluate the student’s understanding and learning style in piano

• Create a positive and engaging atmosphere for learning music

• Understand the child’s learning habits and personality

Parent Session (10 minutes)

• Understand the child’s learning needs and previous learning background

• Help parents and the student establish good practice habits at home

• Discuss and design a suitable lesson plan

• Explain the teaching philosophy of Amuse Piano Studio

• Provide practice methods and guidance for parental support
